Operations Manager Ofsted Supported Accommodation

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality care and support within our Ofsted-regulated accommodation services. You will play a key leadership role in ensuring that young people receive safe, supportive, and nurturing care while meeting all regulatory standards.
About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will lead and support staff teams, ensuring services run smoothly and in line with Ofsted requirements. You will oversee compliance, manage budgets, and develop operational strategies that ensure the highest standards of care. This role requires strong leadership, safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of supported accommodation services.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding policies, and statutory requirements.
- Lead, supervise, and support staff teams to deliver person-centred care.
- Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resources effectively.
- Develop, implement, and review policies and procedures to maintain high standards.
- Work collaboratively with local authorities, social workers, and external agencies.
- Monitor quality assurance, performance data, and improvement plans.
- Promote a culture of continuous development and reflective practice.
Must Have
- Significant management experience within residential childcare, supported accommodation, or a related care setting.
- Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and safeguarding legislation.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Resilience and the ability to handle complex and challenging situations.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience managing multiple sites or services.
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
- Additional training in areas such as therapeutic approaches, trauma-informed care, or mental health.
- Experience in strategic planning and service development.

Must Have
- Bachelor Degree or Higher
- Passion for software products
- Perfect written English
- Highly creative and autonomous
- Valid work permit for Belgium
