Registered Service Manager Ofsted Supported Accommodation

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Service Manager to lead and oversee our Ofsted-regulated supported accommodation service. You will ensure that the highest standards of care and safeguarding are delivered, creating a safe and supportive environment for young people to thrive.
About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and all statutory requirements. You will lead, inspire, and support staff teams, ensuring that young people receive nurturing care that promotes their independence, safety, and wellbeing. This role requires a strong leader with excellent knowledge of safeguarding, regulations, and child development.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards, safeguarding policies, and all relevant legislation.
- Lead and support staff teams, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes.
- Liaise with Ofsted inspectors, local authorities, and external professionals.
- Ensure young people’s voices are heard and their outcomes are continuously improved.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to evidence compliance and high standards of care.
Must Have
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within Ofsted-regulated services.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection legislation.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Resilience and the ability to manage challenging situations.
Nice to Have
- Experience in opening or developing new services.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed or therapeutic approaches.
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
- Additional qualifications in health, social care, or management.

Must Have
- Bachelor Degree or Higher
- Passion for software products
- Perfect written English
- Highly creative and autonomous
- Valid work permit for Belgium
